Delete your Tenner account

Last updated: 27 October 2026

This page is for the Tenner app (bet.tenner.tenner on Google Play). It explains how to delete your account, in the app or by email, and which of your data we delete and which we keep. Our Privacy Policy has the full picture of the data Tenner handles.

Delete your account in the app

  1. Open Tenner and go to the Profile tab.
  2. Tap Delete account.
  3. Tap Delete my account and confirm with Delete.

Your account is closed straight away and you are signed out.

Still in a Tenner? You cannot delete your account while you have created or joined a Tenner that has not ended yet. Wait until it has been settled, cancelled or has expired. A Tenner ends at the latest 24 hours after its deadline.

Ask us to delete your account

No longer have the app, or prefer not to use it? Email privacy@tenner.bet with the subject "Delete my Tenner account". Send it from the email address you use to sign in to Tenner, and include your username if you know it. If you can no longer use that email address, say so and we will find another way to confirm that the account is yours.

We confirm that we received your request and tell you when your account has been deleted, within one month at the latest. We delete it the same way as when you do it in the app, so the lists below apply. If you are still in a Tenner that has not ended, we delete your account once it has ended.

What we delete or hide

What we keep, and for how long

We do not yet delete everything. This is what we currently keep after you delete your account:

DataHow long
Your account record: first name, last name, username, country, Firebase user ID, and the dates you created and deleted your account. It is marked as deleted and is no longer shown or used. Currently no fixed end date
Tenners you created, and your picks in Tenners you joined. They stay part of those Tenners for the other participants, without your name or picture. Currently no fixed end date
Your in-app notifications, and notifications other people received that mention your name (for example when you joined their Tenner). Currently no fixed end date
Internal records our system uses to deliver notifications. They can contain your user ID, username and push token. Currently no fixed end date
Technical logs and traces, which can contain your IP address and user ID. Deleted automatically after 14 days

We are working on deleting or anonymising the data we now keep without a fixed end date. When that changes, we will update this page and our Privacy Policy. Until then, you can ask us to delete it by emailing privacy@tenner.bet.
